Send cash.
Hand to hand.

A vibrant network of local agents carries your cash across Vanuatu's islands. No bank account, no wallet, and no smartphone needed to collect.

Amount, fee, and total are always shown before you confirm.

Every step, out loud

No jargon, no surprises: four steps from your hands to theirs.

  1. 1

    Give agent cash

Take your cash to a nearby collection agent and show them your transfer's QR code.

  2. 2

    Agent confirms

The agent checks your transfer's details on the spot and confirms your cash is received.

  3. 3

    Code is relayed

You get a pickup code. Call or message it to your recipient. They don't need the app to collect.

  4. 4

    Cash collected

Your recipient shows the code (or their own in-app QR) to a payout agent and walks away with their cash.

No smartphone? No problem.

Not everyone in the family carries a smartphone. YumiTransfer doesn't require one to collect cash.

  • Relayed by youOnce your cash is received, you get a pickup code. Pass it on by your own call or message.
  • Redeemable onceThe code works at the payout agent you chose, for this transfer only, until it's collected.
  • Sent in person tooNo app at all? Walk into a collection agent, who can create the transfer for you.

Never held. Always tracked.

Non-custodial by design

Your cash is never deposited into a YumiTransfer account or wallet. It moves directly between you, agents, and your recipient.

Confirmed before it counts

Every collection and payout is checked against your transfer's live details before an agent confirms it.

Verified local agents

Collection and payout points are reviewed and approved before they can handle a single transfer.

Trusted like the stall you know

YumiTransfer is not a bank and never holds your money. Cash changes hands only between people. We coordinate, verify, and record every step in between.

Built for the islands

YumiTransfer is growing its network of local collection and payout agents across Vanuatu, so sending cash between islands doesn't mean waiting on the next boat.

Questions, answered plainly

Is YumiTransfer a bank?

No. YumiTransfer is non-custodial: it never holds your money. Cash is handed to a collection agent and later paid out by a payout agent; YumiTransfer coordinates, verifies, and tracks the transfer in between.

Do I need a smartphone to receive money?

No. If you have the app, you can collect with an in-app QR code. If you don't, the sender can relay you a pickup code by phone call or message. You take that to the payout agent instead.

Can someone send without the app?

Yes. A sender can walk in to a collection agent, who creates the transfer on their behalf. No smartphone required on the sending side either.

Is my transfer tracked?

Yes. Every transfer moves through a tracked set of steps, from cash received to cash paid out, with a receipt at the end.

What languages does the app support?

The YumiTransfer app supports English, Bislama, and French.
